We liked how clean it was and of course the friendly staff. The location is near to what we needed that day, but there was a lot of traffic and construction going on, which we were aware of before our visit. The room was big and the pool and gym would have been great for us if we had had the time to use them. They also offer manicure/pedicure services, which I will book during my next stay here. The Indian restaurant inside the hotel had delicious food and the breakfast was satisfying too. Oh, and there is a parking garage in the basement which was important for us.

All good things to say about CBD. They have the most helpful staff, I feel safe always at this hotel. The staff go the extra mile to be helpful. Many thanks to Ben, Shariffa, Iddy, Emmanual & Angel. I forgot my carry on bag at the airport at 4am and Emmanual took me back and he was very assuring and affirming me that everything was going to be OK and it was. The hotel is the secure booking for your layovers and Aiport transfers especially if you are a lone female traveller for early mornings flights and overall in general it meets the expectations imo.

Staff where incredibly friendly, despite the several challenges that we experienced with our travel dates getting to Tanzania, once we were there the hotel were incredibly helpful and made the journey amazing.

Everything. To start with, the location is very central to visit Dar Es Salaam or to be in transit in DAR (close to airport, fish market, kariakoo market). Easy access to bajaji and taxis. The receptionist on our first day put us in contact with someone who installed a tanzanian sim on our phone. This changed our lives, we used bolt everytime through our tanzanian number. The porters are incredibly pleasant and helpful. One of the porters even offered to be our guide one morning, we enjoyed his friendly tour. We got a free late check out. Our rooms were always clean and tidy. The restaurant has been helpful many times with good dishes at a decent restaurant price (a bit pricy compared to local street restaurants nearby but it makes sense as this one is a real clean restaurant). The buffet breakfast has a nice egg station and varies everyday. The swimming pool was also very nice on the warm days. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel. It exceeded our expectation. Thank you so much CBD hotel, we hope to be back one day.

The staff were very welcoming and courteous at all times. Management was visible and paid us a visit when husband complained of a mosquito although this really wasnt a serious issue which i thought was going an extra mile to see to it that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Worth mentioning is the Spa lady who gave me one of the best full body massages i have ever had and Yohane who was always eager to help at any particular point. Check in and check out was equally very efficient with friendly and courteous personnel at the reception.

The hotel is a comfortable hotel downtown. It has a good Indian restaurant downstairs where we got dinner. The breakfast buffet was here also and it was good as well. The hotel picked us up from the ferry. They were on time with a sign with my name on it. They also arranged a taxi to the airport for us. It was a perfect place for our night between being on Zanzibar and our flight home.

A mosquito had bitten me at nighttime on last stay. And I reported this issue for hotel staff then a hotel staff improve this problem, I can take an enough to sleep this time. And there is enough amenity [Toothbrush, Shaving Kit, Body Lotion, Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gell also Soap] in the Washroom.

The staffs were amazingly helpful and exceptional service. We took tazara bit it was delayed for 10 hours and qe came bback to hotel to uae the lobby until about time to go back to train station and staffs were very accommodating our distress and allowed us to us the lobby lounge until then. Room was nice and comfortable, breakfast is good and location also good place.

Very friendly and professional staff in all service areas; the restaurant offers, amongst others, delicious Indian food; food is also serviced on the terrace on the mezzanine floor in an area next to the pool that is a lovely place for early evening hours; very good breakfast including frehly prepared variety of egg dishes; I highly recommend the Swedish massage at the SpA, wonderful treatment after a day of boda-boda driving in town;
